Link to the auction!!

Let do the math on this one!! Using the $1.99 Buy-It-Now!!

Ebay Start Fee......$0.35

Ebay End Fee........$0.24

Paypal Fee............$0.36 2.9% + 0.30

Shipping...............$0.42 (thats if he is just using a envelope)

Total Fees............$1.37

Plus the cost of the 2x2 and envelope

This guy is really losing money here!!

Do you think he even realizes this?

He claims these are from sealed US Mint rolls also.

I-roll = 35.95

s&h= $4.95 - regular mail

Divide that by 25 coins in a roll and they equal $1.63 paid for ea. Dollar.

The only thing he's probably hoping for it to sell more than one to ea. buyer that buys.

That's more than likely not the case. He probably got these from the Direct Ship program, or from a bank.

He's not making a ton, but he can't be losing that much. And the 35c start fee wouldn't be for each coin, that's for the entire listing.

Then again, this may just be a ploy to get his feedback numbers up.

Even if he didn't pay anything for the start fee he is still losing money!!

When I sold items many times I would sell related items at break even just to generate traffic for the 'big' profit items.

But he doesn't have any big profit items!!

I guess he realized it because he pulled the auction.

I emailed him and asked him why he is selling when he is losing money!!

I guess he realized he was losing money!!

I don't think people take the time to figure out what all of the fees are.

I know that I did the same thing and didn't even realize that is was costing me money to sell the coins.

Results :

Well , for the money ... I got two very nice Native dollars each in a cardboard/inert plastic fold over sleeve , wrapped several times in a sturdy sheet of paper within a standard envelop . The shipping was remarkably fast and the seller included a Thank-You note.

I grade one of the dollars to be about MS 66 or better ( I do not see any marks anywhere , though the strike is average MDS ) .

My opinion is that the seller is fair and normal and just wants to do business in a stale bay market. I didn't find anything wrong . I was satisfied with the results .

Now....what to do with another bunch of native dollars ?
