I am trying to grade this 1887 Indian Head Cent, - DDO FS-009.5 FND-001.

I think it is either vf-35 or xf-40. Any help appreciated.

The coin has EF sharpness, but there is some minor corrosion in the date area, face and ribbon that, at the moment, would keep it from selling for EF money IMO. I've seen examples where coin doctors have toned this type of thing down, which this case would not be a bad thing. They use "CARE" or "BLUE RIBBON" or that sort of thing.
