2001 OFF CENTER CENT WITH REEDING. WHAT CAUSES THIS?????

I won this coin in a lot of error coins from Ebay. The reeding is more spaced than a US dime, and looks more like the spacing on a Canadian dime reeding.

I posted it here to learn more about this kind of error not to sell here. Any thoughts on this one guys and gals?
