ANACS economy service return times

6 posts in this topic

NEVER use the economy service. In complete honesty, the last time I sent in coins using economy, by the time I got them back I had forgotten much of what was submitted. It was probably 3+ months. Spend the extra $5 and get them back using the 5-day service which is usually 2 weeks door-to-door. Better yet, send them to NGC for $13.50 using their economy service and get them back in about a month.

Oh I'm sending to NGC thumbsup2.gif. I was just curious as they don't post the amount of time next to the fee in their pricing tier. I was down right shocked though. That's PCGS time. I have like 8 MS older commem.s (all former crack outs that I now wonder why I cracked out to begin with makepoint.gif) that I'll be sending out soon. They're going to NGC, no doubt.

I sent some coins in to ANACS using economy about 6 months ago, and they came back in about 6 weeks or so as I recall. I wasn't in any hurry, but if you are, definitely upgrade!

27_laughing.gif "PCGS time". I like that. What is "PCGS time" anyway? Is it based on an precise atomic clock that doesn't have a battery? Or is it measured in "dog years". laugh.gif

I agree with Jeff. Econo service is fine as long as you aren't in a hurry. I mean, if the coins are going to be in your safe deposit box anyway they might as well be at ANACS getting graded if that is what you want.
