Monster Toned Mexico Un Pesos

I know toning doesn't seem to excite the foreign coin collecting crowd nearly as much as it does the US crowd, but these have to make your heart jump. Even toning haters would have to admit that these are beautiful.

Very nice coins Greg! I have a 1967 Mexican mint set where all the coins have great toning. The peso was missing from the set when I bought it, judging from the toning on the other coins I would love to see what that peso looks like!

 

Hoot, the Mexican mint issued their mint sets in a cardboard holder where the coins were put into cutouts in the cardboard for each coin.
