Question on ANACS/Morgan Variety Attribution

2 posts in this topic

OK, I am in no way a Morgan expert, but I have an 1883-CC with a die clash, and someone suggested I send it in to ANACS to be graded and attributed. I can handle the sending to ANACS part, but what am I attributing? confused-smiley-013.gif Is it the VAM thingy (I really don't know what VAMs are, but I looked on the internet for info on them once and got a splitting headache, so I stopped tonofbricks.gif). Any suggestions would help. Thanks! popcorn.gif

Die Clash in the Morgan Dollar series is very common, and unless some thing has changed in the last few years, the Grading Services will not attribute a coin solely for a Die Clash.
