A Neat little numismatic item - 40% Silver Kennedy Half

Kinda neat. With the rolled rim, it's about 3X the thickness of a normal Kennedy Half, and closer to the diameter of a quarter.

It looks like someone was trying to make a ring out of it but gave up.

I agree with Chris, when I was a boy I used to make rings out of silver half dollars for me and silver quarter rings for the girls. I used to tap on the edge with a spoon until the ring was the desired finger size. A nail and hammer would make the hole and a rat tail file would clean up the inside. MunkyMan95 get to work and finish this ring! lol

You know, I tried to make a ring like this once out of a silver Washington quarter - after about an hour and a half with a spoon and the coin, my ears were ringing and I had made very little progress lol
