e-bay is soooooooo dumb!

I tried to leave negative feedback last week on a bad seller. I following the correct procedures but it would not enter the final step. I then tried to leave neutral feedback, same thing. I finally left positive feedback with a caveat.

I tried to report an inappropriate seller just now for excessive S&H fees nor would seller combine shipping items (casino tokens-light-weight). I went through the steps to report it but, once again, it would not allow me to submit the data.

So, what's up wit' dat?

It seems to me that e-bay is a farce, full of methane, limp and ineffective in action.

rantrant

Anyone else ever have this problem?

Don't believe sellers can leave bad or neutral feedback anymore.

What casino chips were they?

Chris

Cool since I was born in 1965 and raised in Vegas--to me, anyway :þ

I canceled my bids on the other two since he refused to consolidate shipping. Five bucks a token is pretty expensive although I think the tokens should be worth more.

I have a mint state 1968 Landmark token that I've had since I was a kid in the early 70's. It is worth much, much more than $6.50 or $11.50 to me.

p.s. I was the buyer, not the seller.

Sorry I missed that you were the buyer. Not sure why you couldn't leave neg. feedback. Ebay will probably ignore complaints of excessive shipping and HANDLING. Handling is hard to put a price on.

What tee'd me off is that he refused to combine shipping and had no mention of it in his listings.

There is no rule that sellers should combine shipping. You should always assume that they won't, or you should specificly ask first before bidding. If he didn't say he would combine and you didn't ask, oh I take that back I see you did ask and then canceled you bids, so I see nothing to complain to eBay about or to leave a neg about.

I'm not going to neg him or make a big issue out of it but I'll never deal with the man again. Customer Service should always be #1 regardless of the business you're in!!!

I tried to pay for a coin via the PayPal button on the Ebay site today and they kept kicking the payment for "wrong zip code for WA" state. Well, I've lived here awhile and nothing changed the Zip Code here except the brain in Ebay's computer. "Earth To Major Tom" Ebay!

Yeah. I've been after things before that seemed like a good deal right until I ran head-long into a refusal to combine S&H. Now I always ask before bidding on more than 1 item if the seller doesn't say that they discount and how big the discount is. I also bid with S&H&I included in my bid price, so if the seller tries to put the screws to me in any of those areas I'm just going to take it back out of their sale price. If that means I don't win the auction then that's fine by me.
