Do you collect card board?

 

Actually I do, the Wayte Raymond and Meghrig variety. I have several sets started and several more in the wings and I just won this off ebay --- Meghrig

 

That's cheaper than they originally cost!

I've seen the ads in Coin World and one thing comes to mind. Ridiculous. There seems to be alot of paper waste in numismatics. The US mint comes to mind. When you ordera commem. or eagle coin it seems like three layers of cardboard boxes. Why? I wish they would just offer a coin in the capsule in an envelope at most. Maybe then they could lower prices a few bucks too? What do you guys think about all the boxes and excess packaging? Is it the mint just fluffing up the product in order to charge more? confused-smiley-013.gif
