My 1858 Flying Eagle....A Question.......2 Small pics And 1 Large

This is the question...Also it's the big pic......

Is there a DDR for the 1858 Flying eagle.This doesn't look like Mechanical doubling to me but I may be wrong.Any Ideas . 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

there are 4 DDR's listed in Snow's book for the '58 SL.

They all appear at a quick glance to have doubling evident on the E of ONE. Check that.

 

The S5 is a Low leaves, DDR, 3-R-III

says....."slight doubling visible at the base of ONE. heavy extra outlines on lower half of the design."

 

this variety has a 1 star rating which means a slight premium.
