I love the color on this Columbian half dollar.

 

I purchased this coin from a dealer over a decade ago. At the time the dealer was "very angry" (the "P" word would be more accurate) at PCGS 893frustrated.gif because he had sent it in twice and ony gotten an MS-63 on it both times. I bailed him out and bought it for quite a few dollars over "ask" (the bids for early commems were much higher in those days.).

 

Am I buried in this piece today? Probably not although "bid" is still only about $60 for an MS-63 which is about half of what I paid paid then.
