FA on eBay: Two Deuces

I have two Two Cent Pieces scheduled to close Sunday.

 

1864 ANACS MS60 BN (not a problem coin)

Both are nice coins for the grade and have some woodgrain alloy mix.

Victor, you are probably right on the 1864, but who is going to have it regraded so see if they get an MS61 or MS62? I think the luster would keep it from going any higher than that.

 

The 1865 could possibly upgrade but there are some small marks that are very difficult to see in the pebbled texture of the tone. It also has some minor rim cuds on both sides that I like.

 

Both coins are completely free of carbon spots which is also unusual for lower grade pieces (and even some higher grade pieces). They both have several watchers and it will be interesting to see how these unusual coins do.

 

I'm trying to part with some of my duplicates. After these go I will be down to just five 1864s with two of them in the "sell box". :o
