First Spouse Medals

Just an observation but it is obvious from the population reports that PCGS is being much looser in the grading of the new first spouse medals series. Not being able to afford the spouses in gold, I am actively putting together the highest NGC graded medals I can get.

 

I find this series to be interesting and inexpensive. And these 90% medals are beautiful, especially in a high grade NGC slab. MS68s will be hard to come by and as of yet I have not seen a 69.

 

I am curious to know what others think and corresponding with other collectors of this series.
