  4. Hello all....came across this Jefferson Nickel...I have never seen one like this before and was wondering if anyone out there might know how this happened...I hope the photo is sharp enough...it looks like this on the reverse too
  5. the cost for grading was not a surprise but I had not considered insurance both ways etc...still studying this whole business
  6. I have been checking rates for grading, insurance etc and have found that it costs a lot to get these things graded....I think I will take the advice I've received from you guys and hang on to it and at least wrap it in a coin holder....thanks for the info

  9. thanks Alex...I am trying to decide if I should have it graded....I was looking at the rates and am a bit confused...I see there is a "Modern" rate that is about $20 or so but it says value up to $3000....how can I determine its value before I send it....any help is appreciated
