  1. Sms coins seem to always get a higher grade. Though not worth nearly as much. A cherrypicked ms68 is a unicorn. Let alone a Proof Like one, From uncirculated roll searches.

  3. I've read a 65+ coin must be well struck. What if very few well struck coins for that yr , mint. To get ms66 or higher. Luster comes into play then. I've got a quarter ms68. But weak struck on parts. Other wise beautiful. Thanks Charles

  10. It's become a real possibility that the US government could do away with coins n cash. Saving billions, with no coins and bills to produce. Wiping coin collecting off the map. What do you think
  11. I've seen lots of quarters similar, with the tacky look,out of mint rolls. Some kind of grease, on new dies. Idk. If so how would they ever make proof like 1st strikes.
