  1. I thought I would give this another try to see if anyone might be able to help. Thanks!!
  2. Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to take a look at this yet? Thank you!
  3. Well it's been 2 weeks since I asked my question about the Star Trek signature labels and nobody has even responded yet. My post still hasn't even been approved by a mod.. what's with that?
  4. I'm still pretty new to this forum. My post says it hasn't been approved yet. Has anyone seen this question yet? Thank you!
  5. Hello, I found an article saying that 1,701 special signed labels were released in Australia only. I think.. sorry, it wasn't very clear. It also didn't give a break-out of how many signature labels exist for each coin. I now own a few of these and would love to know how many were released. Thank you!
  6. My husband and I got sucked into about 4 years of Funko Pop collecting. They are fun, but it can become a bit of a habit, they take up a lot of room, and you have to be so dang careful with the boxes.. one dented corner and you loose value. And they fall and dent easily. Then if you want to try to resale, shipping is a bit of a pain the butt, being that the box must arrive perfectly. We amassed a collection of just over 1,000 items. Pops, plushies, mystery minis, and some other Funko products. Most of it was in storage totes we bought, some was on display, some was in closets.. lol, it was everywhere. So I finally decided to hunt down a bulk collection buyer and sold the collection. The buyer paid 50% of the Pop Price Guide value. (PPG is an app/website that tracks the value of pops and allows collectors to manage their collections.) We ultimate kept about 100 items from movies and TV shows that we love. All together we made a net profit on the sale.. but probably not if you consider time invested in the hunting/buying/housing of our collection. It was fun, and a good portion of the money I earned from the sale of the Pop collection has been reinvested in bullion and NGC graded coins. Ohh btw.. I just found the Chibi coins tonight. .. .. .. . uh oh...
  7. Hello, I was wondering if the NGC grades clad coins? Such as the black Ruthenium clad coins by Merrick Mint? https://www.merrickmint.com/black-ruthenium-clad-2015-kennedy-half-dollar-u-s-coin-with-24k-gold-clad-jfk-portrait-p-mint.html Thank you!
  8. I'm new here, and I have not registered one coin yet.. but I'm excited for next year!! This is such a cool thing to do! I can't wait to get some coins registered and try to complete a set!
  9. Hello, I was hoping an NGC member might be able to help me. I'm a Star Trek fan and have recently purchased some Tuvalu Star Trek coins, including some with the limited William Shatner signature label. Is there any way to tell how many labels were signed by Shatner? When I lookup the Shatner coins vs. the standard label coins, I see the same counts.. for all Star Trek coins. Example: 4394954-366 - 2016P Tuvalu Star Trek Proof - PF70 - Shatner Label - 2,743 in PF 70 UC https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/4394954-366/70/ 4395037-300 - 2016P Tuvalu Star Trek Proof - PF70 - No Shatner Label - 2,743 in PF 70 UC https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/4395037-300/70/ Maybe I'm not reading it correctly. But how do I tell how many have the Shatner label, it's not all 2,743? As a collector and a huge Star Trek fan, this information is important to me. Why release a limited edition label if the count is unknown? Thank you so much for any help you can offer!
  10. I'll do that, thanks for the advice. I do want to know. Posted: Thanks!
  11. I'd love to trade some other stuff for some nice slabbed coins. A trades wanted section would be nice.. I could post what I want and what I have to trade.
  12. 4394954-366 - 2016P Tuvalu Star Trek Proof - PF70 - Shatner Label - 2,743 in PF 70 UC https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/4394954-366/70/ 4395037-300 - 2016P Tuvalu Star Trek Proof - PF70 - No Shatner Label - 2,743 in PF 70 UC https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/4395037-300/70/ I've seen others in this Tuvalu series, w/ the Shatner label that show the same thing.. maybe I'm not reading it correctly. But how do I tell how many have the Shatner label, it's not all 2,743?
  13. That is what I wanted to know. Of the 324 PF70's, how many have the Shatner label. 100, 50, fewer? It would be good to know, from a collector's standpoint. Why wouldn't they(NGC) keep track of that?
  14. Ridley Scott should have signed some of those beautiful Alien coins.. just a thought.
  15. I'm a Trekkie and I love the William Shatner labels, though I REALLY wish there was a Patrick Stewart signature label! Can we please get more celebrity signature labels? Not only do I think they are great, but I think they will help to bring more collectors to the coin collecting world. There are a lot of Disney/Marvel coins, bring in some Marvel celebrities to do some limited edition signature labels. I sure would love to have had a signature label on my Tuvalu Black Panther coin. Just a thought from a newly interested old collector.
  16. When I look up this coin, see below, it doesn't show a count for the coins with a Shatner label. Is there anyway to find out how any of these have the Shatner signature labels? I actually just bought one, so I was curious. ps.. I'm still very new to this site and learning how to navigate.. Tuvalu Varieties 2016P TUVALU STAR TREK - HIGH RELIEF S$1 PF https://www.ngccoin.com/census/world/tuvalu/sc-319/s1/varieties/790233/
  17. There is a slabbed NGC 1 oz gold coin I am considering buying on eBay. The coin is a proof with a limited run of about 1,000 I think, and they are all numbered. The seller has less than 100 feedbacks. Should I be wary of buying a slabbed gold coin like this on eBay? Do people break the slabs and replace the coins? I've never spent bought a coin at this price but I really like/want it! If I do buy it, can I send it in to the NGC for validation? Thanks!
  18. What would be more collectible on a limited edition proof coin? PF70 grade without a signature label or PF69 grade with a signature label?
  19. Thanks Lem E. That's exactly what I was looking for. I saw that Shatner signed some NGC labels, I'm a huge Star Trek fan. Is there anyway to tell how many NGC label he has signed in total? thanks again!
