  1. I love hearing stories like that, your grandfather must have had a nice collection. I started collecting just by keeping cool coins I thought were odd. I really dont care what it is worth, I just enjoy it. But it would be nice to know if I had anything worth leaving to my kids. I would love to buy them a house!
  2. I wish I had any interest from my kids when it comes to collecting, they think I am crazy spending all my time looking at coins. I have had a very hard time getting any of my coins graded, so I started only purchasing already graded coins. I am sure I have plenty of coins worth grading, that is why I joined NGC. Happy collecting and Welcome
  3. Yes, I was able to figure it out all by myself, Moxie15. Thank you for your response. All forums are different and all quite intimidating, Thanks again. Penny Pitstop
  4. I am not so new to coin collecting, but clueless on computers. For example how do I find my bio and edit it. I somehow signed up for comic books. I do happen to have 3 or 4 but my passion is coins and stamps. World and US. I am new to forum please be patient. Once I find that one detail i am missing it will all be good Thank you, Penny Pitstop
  5. Newbe to the boards, Penny pitstop. The die marks that authenticate the 1955 seem to be missing from the authentic coin. Do they vary at all? What are all the other obvious marks or divits in the coin? and will they all be the same as well?
