    it's a shame the Morgan has been gold plated. Seen a few Gold Coins that are set in bezels but have been polished.

    Keep it as a cleaned coin sample. I do that when I submit Morgans or peace dollars so i can think the third time before sending.

    Thank you GBrad I still appreciate your thoughts on this it could be a small object such as a button. After taking a look at the reverse side there are three letters i could be wrong. "A","V" and maybe a "P"?

    Yes thank you correcting me. The thickness is 2mm and the diameter is 15mm.
