  1. So it couldn’t have happened when the dies hit and some defect in the planchet caused the copper to shoot out like that? It’s still as thin as a regular quarter. Not trying to argue I just have so many questions about this quarter haha
  2. I found this coin and it appears to have its copper core on the outside of the coin. It’s still as thin as a regular quarter leading me to believe it happened under extreme pressure, as in two dies coming together. But the weights slightly off. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I know there are several varieties on these 1982 pennies but I’m giving myself a headache thinking too much. Can someone help me identify the large and small dates? If I’m correct I think the top two are the large date bronze and the bottom picture is the small date zinc. The weights are written in the pictures. As always any help is appreciated.
  4. I was wondering if this Delaware quarter is one with a die crack that makes the horse look like it’s spitting.
