  1. Please assist if you can. Any input is appreciated. I am trying to identify this 1965 - 6 coin Peru coin set in cello.(see pictures below) I have been able to identify all the coins as far as being "commemorative". Five coins in the set includes the 5, 10, 25 Centavo and a 1/2 Sol and a 1 Sol, all struck in brass. It also includes a 6th coin ; a Veinte (20) Soles struck in .9000 Silver. Question: Is this just a 6 coin commemorative set of the 400th ANNIVERSARY OF THE LIMA MINT or is it possible that it is a "proof" set ? I understand how to tell the difference in sets of coins from the USA. I have begun to collect world coins and I am having a hard time telling the difference. Thank you !!!
