  1. Hi Mike, Do you have this coin in your possession? It looks like the grade has been changed. This is sometimes done for certain sales listings or marketing purposes. We appreciate your interest in NGC. Thanks!
  2. Hi, Unfortunately, there wouldn't be a sufficient level of diagnostics to determine the exact date. Sometimes, we can include the date if the blank planchet is submitted in an original Mint-sealed roll. Thank you for your interest in NGC.
  3. Hi, In order to have the COA number included on the NGC label, “Add COA Number” had to be written on the NGC Submission Form. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your submission. https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/7819/2019-S-Enhanced-Reverse-Proof-Silver-Eagle/ Ronnie
  4. Hi, Multi-coin holders are only available for select bulk submissions (100 or more coins) of certain coin types. Thank you for your interest in this product.
  5. Hello, The Modern tier can be used for US or world coins struck 1965 to present with a maximum value of $3,000, so this coin should qualify. Our complete pricing and terms can be found here. We appreciate your interest in NGC. Ronnie
  6. Hi, Thank you for your question. Our holder has not had any color-changing elements if it is opened. More details on our security features can be found here. We appreciate your interest in NGC.
  7. Hi, Genuine is an adjectival grade that is assigned to an item to describe it as real or authentic. For some bulk submissions, NGC will allow the submitter to request that only an adjectival grade like this be printed on the NGC certification label. More information on adjectival grades can be found here. We appreciate your interest in NGC.
  8. Hello, NGC does not purchase coins. We recommend that you find a dealer; our NGC Dealer Locator is a great resource tool. https://www.ngccoin.com/services/dealer-listing.aspx We appreciate your interest in NGC.
  9. Hi, There are a few cases where specific coins are required to be submitted under a particular tier or higher, and this is one of those cases. There are several coins on this invoice that require the Economy tier or higher. These policies may be in place due to extra handling or to provide better turnarounds at the time. The submission articles are below. We recommend that submitters check for any articles first, as there may be other special instructions or options. https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/9112/2021-mogan-peace-dollars/ https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/9354/2021-Silver-Eagles-Designer-Set/ We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your submission to NGC.
  10. Hi, The coins can be submitted in the original holders. The "Consent to Remove Coin From Holder" form on the back of the submission form cover must be completed. Thank you for your submission.
  11. Hi, The $150 credit from the Premium membership excludes shipping and handling fees. The $38 charge is for those fees. Thank you for your submission to NGC.
  12. Hi, We are sorry to see this. The re-encapsulation depends on if the seal of the holder has been compromised. Sometimes, damage like this can occur, and it can be submitted for our ReHolder service. Our holders our made to protect the coin, so if a ReHolder will not work, the coin will most likely receive the same grade. We recommend that you submit for a ReHolder first, and then we will evaluate further. Thank you for your interest in NGC.
  13. Hi, NGC employees are well-trained in proper coin handling, and therefore gloves are not necessary. In fact, we feel that gloves could pose a greater risk to the coins because someone is much more likely to drop a coin while wearing a thick cotton glove. Our graders and other NGC employees only hold a coin by its edge, which is an accepted practice throughout the numismatic industry.
  14. Hi, In most cases, notable or historical pedigrees like Eliasberg will be maintained on the new NGC holder. When you submit, please note the existence of the pedigree on the submission form and a note to keep the pedigree on the new holder. For reference, more information on our pedigree policies can be found here. We appreciate your interest in NGC.
