Taro's half dime.
Wow Taro
-
Nice coins Lee
Dansco
Just for kicks - I think this one was like $20 or something like that
Winston, two very nice coins. I especially like the Kennedy with such great toning. Something I would be proud to have in my own collection.

Leeg, that 1876 is gorgeous. I think the draped, capped and seated liberty halves have a design that allows collectors to develop a realy fine collection at all different grade levels, and it is harder, I think, to do this as you go below the MS64 point (gorgeous MS64's are almost a dime a dozen so to speak, but really nice XF40's with great eye appeal are more difficult, and this demonstrates that chasing the grade is a fools road to eye appeal. you did well. Congratulations.

I got this one a week or so ago, but I haven't shown it yet.
that's a very pretty III
-
that's a nice photo of the reverse proof
lovely 1808
and Victor, is that scratch on the coin or on the holder?
but really that gets three bows.
-
Wow! a lot of neat coins. That's a very nice bust dime and slq, Winston.
Congrats on your piece( saint), Chad.
re the seated dollar (rbrown4)...wow...It's so hard to find them with such detail and then unfortunately it's been cleaned improperly. Maybe storing it in a kraft envelope for a few years would help it (out of it's holder).
edited to distinguish who i was referring to

looks like a nicely mirrored and frosty, delightful, Morgan

the stone mountain is a lustrous beauty!
the 1818 Bustie is beautiful!

It is very interesting how lighting can change the coin's appearance.
In your opinion, which image better describes this stunning type coin ?
You also mentioned a Proof 64 - which you liked better - do you
have that image as well, for comparison purposes ?
My newest acquisition:
[you know there'll be a red X where
the image is supposed to be: ] { I can't believe the image appeared !!!}
-
an outstanding coin!
-
leeg, the 1817 is fantastic. Victor, you lucked out with that 1842 $1. Can we see the reverse? That was a very difficult find. Congratulations.
-
a very nice 1854 arrows. It has that 'look'. I wonder from whence it came??
-
the 1818 cent is beautiful, the '43 Walker looks like a very nice coin.
-
congratulations Tom, and Lou on some very beautiful coins!
-
Beautiful dime.
-
that is actually a definite sleeper coin, the 1820 curled base two, and the one you have looks unmessed with and has very nice
eye appeal.
This is definitely a scarce coin, and if it is not in a holder now,
I suggest you send it to NGC or PCGS for grading. And don't sell it.
edited to add: so yes, it does compare well to any coin above!
also, the total mintage for all 1820s is just slightly greater than that for the 1807s, and of course,
the curled base two variety even a smaller percentage of that.
If you do a search on 1820 curled base two bust halves you will find a significant proportion having been cleaned or
altered in some way. It's very difficult to find one such as yours.
-
the 1853 arrows and rays is pretty c o o l too!
-
Beautiful '51 Frankie, and definitely a keeper!
-
You might like this one DieClash.
It's also an 1880.
great die clash!
-
Tom, that is a beautiful $1 SL, beautiful indeed, and so hard to find.
-
that's a nice Pilgrim, Winston. Is that an old 'rattler' holder?
-
leeg, send that lacquered lady to legend for a q tip treatement, or the magic mat...can you imagine what she'll look like?
-
I just fainted, picked myself up and typed this.
