Food for thought!
Richard told me (he's my local, Honest, coin dealer at "The Copper Coin Shop here in Marquette, MI,) that particulally with Morgans today.....
I need to be careful what I'm buying. He says a lot of the old timers who collected coins years ago wouldn't think twice about shining up their coins. He says they'd buff them up and make'em shine so their collections looked real nice...today alot of those coins are falling into the hands of the next generation or the generation after that and being liquidated. So buyer be ware.
After the NGC rejected the last 3 morgan I sent in, I'm affraid to send in others. I used to buy so indiscriminately thinking everyone is honest like Richard and me...dumb, hey! Small town influences, I guess. Anyway I just bought 3 morgans from CHINA, yes, I said China. It was beginning to look like they would never arrive, but they have. They look nice, but I'll bet donuts to dollars they've been IMPROPERLY CLEANED..... I'm going to send them in anyway. I'll let you know how it turns out in a couple of months at the turn around rate of NGC. I'm not complaining though....I like NGC.
