Yeah, I'm a Lincoln nut!
Here is a coin that suprised me when it arrived. I thought I was purchasing a simple 1993D Lincoln in MS68RD, especially when the coin description did not mention anything strange about the coin. Well, when it arrived I went straight for the 10x glass just as I always do with a new arrival. I usually spend a good 10 to 15 minutes looking at the coin for haze, toning, defects, etc. before I enter the details into the Registry.
But, I looked at this coin off and on for several hours to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me. I finally concluded, that yes, I did, in fact, have a coin with not one or two, but three seperate and distinct die breaks on Lincoln's head.
I've included a nice closeup photo. If you need more info on the breaks, see my Registry set of MS coins. What do you think?
