My attempt to track down the 2006 P Jefferson Nickel (RTM/BTM)

It is unbelievable to me that I can not find a new roll of nickels anywhere, except ebay, and the U.S. Mint wrapped sets. I live in Ohio, right, I'm a "P" generally speaking, but for the last week I have called every bank, all the federal reserves, and many dealers in the area looking for a roll of nickels. After complete failure I realized maybe I should try to find a box (50 rolls), put 'em away for a bit. So now I recontacted the banks, The Mint, The Federal Reserve, thinking maybe bulk is what they want to ship. NOPE- Nadda. Now this is a new regular circulation nickel correct? Why is it that the only thing I can find is dealers selling for $3.50 a roll? How do I learn to get them in boxes, or crates, or simply just rolls at face value. I mean it is just a nickel, right?

If you have any advice for me I would love to hear it.!
