When you click on to the NGC Chat Boards the first forum is "What You Need to Know - About Coin Collecting". There is a wealth of information there! I would suggest to anyone having trouble with any area of coin collecting to check out the posts there.

It would look to me that anyone who is getting body bag after body bag would welcome any help he could get? It costs a ton to get coins graded. Why waste your money if you don't have to?

I buy raw coins all of the time and I do get a BB every now and then. But I CAN tell if a coin has been messed with most of the time! The reason I can is because I have read and studied the information I have picked up off of the chat boards as well as from books I have purchased! I have gone to many coin shows and compared coins to see what real "lustre" looks like.

There is no reason to get angry because 99% of the collectors on the Journal and chat boards are just trying to help you...
