Leading up to this event I have purchased two display cases and a large sign to hang from my tent/canopy....US COINS...etc

Tonight I price everything out. I have to give some serious thought on how to price the coins I am going to offer.

Coin prices are a funny thing. In an environment like Ebay, ther market is so saturated that realized prices tend to be below the industry as a whole. Then you have a couple different price guides which are supposed to help you determine a coins worth. The truth is, its a constant guessing game.

I believe my main goal on Saturday will be to see if I can build some relationships. As I progress with the idea of becoming something closer to a dealer, I want to encourage people to deal with me.

So how do you that? You do it through honesty, integrity and value. Collectors want someone they can trust while also getting a good deal.

Integrity is often lost in this hobby so its very important to me that my customers know they can count on my products and service.

I am toying with the idea to offer services on Saturday... such as subscription services for Prez $1. At this point though, I just dont know if its worth it. It would give me a captive audience for sharing other items for sale (provided the customer agreed to view such offers)

We will have to see how it all turns out.
