re:time for discounts
i for 1 have held off on giving them the extra money to get coins faster.
if i(being the buyer)cant get recognized as the most important person in the sales game i figure why keep giving my money to the people not giving me the recognition. i believe that it is not the sales people but the people buying there product that count the most.and when we get a raw coin that we believe should be in there holder we r giving them the popularity they need to continue there sales.
where would pcgs and ngc be if we didnt buy there product(belly up) thats where. lots of us even send 50 or more to get graded at a time and pay full price when the people that dont even collect (just sell) get mass savings!
i for 1 think that if we start holding out and just gather coins we want graded for much later sending in, or have a "dealer" person send in to save money on mass grading they would loose what money they r getting from us "lil people".
i have over 150 coins to be graded but refuse to pay full price for 2 months for what is said to take 2 weeks.
us "lil people" should stand as the upmost in numismatics and not the people makeing the buck from us. we are the back bones of the "collecting world" and deserve a break just like the "dealers".
in thaught they make more money off the collectors gradings than giving a discount to the non collectors. i have done business for many yrs and the only way to keep up is know who to give thanks to.
so now that i have ranted for a bit im done. just wanted to give my worth (but thats all youre getting )
