Upgrade in MS grades
I recently sent in several coins that were purchased many years ago to NGC and two of the group came back with a note attached. It stated that NGC had identified these as good coins for conservation by NCS. I was not sure if they would be worth sending in to NCS or not. I finally sent them in, and recently received them back. One was a 1851 1/2 cent graded that had graded MS 62. That coin upgraded to MS 63. The other was a proof Liberty 5? that had graded PF62. The nickel came back looking like a diferent coin, graded PF64 with GREAT reflective surfaces. Both were well worth the money spent. Great job to both NGC and NCS. If they recommend that you send a coin in for conservation DO IT.
