Coin World accidentally exposed the harsh truth.....
In a previous issue of Coin World ( I am sorry I don't recall which one...about a year ago) in an article about first strikes, the author indicated that the die pair life was around 1000 coins. They stopped short of calling First Strike Programs fraud, but at best it is Marketing Marketing Marketing. If the actual die pair life were even 10,000 coins. You can be sure that coins minted in the first 30 days of production run the entire gambit of quality problems caused from die wear.
