20 error coins submitted knocked Down!

I'm totally in shock, I just heard the lamest escuse in the world from NGC.

I sent in 20 lincoln cents various years for error submission along with FS number designations, two of which were cracked out but already certified through NGC but felt the grade should have been higher. Today the grades came thru with no designations plus utterly bashed and hammered on the grades were talking trash level. even the two cracked out didn't even make it.

I called to ask what happened and was told the grader didn't feel they were strong enough to warrant designation. Although the varieties are clearly evident with or without magnification.

Whats a guy to do? PCGS takes eternity plus 1 day to grade coins, while NGC error grader determines error coins depending on his feelings and not documented markers or facts pertaining to the error. Maybe it is time to put professional grading and encapsulation asside and go back to the old way of doing things?
